BPF presents another selection of its 2023 performance season with the staged production of The Cooking Lesson by playwright Vasi Johnson at the Eubie Blake Cultural Center.
The Cooking Lesson is directed by BPF Vice-Chair Miriam Bazensky. It highlights a situation that can be found in many more traditional home settings: “Vasoula is set on making sure her daughter Christina is a good Greek wife. For Vasoula, that means teaching Christina how to make moussaka for her husband.”

The performance will be generously hosted at the Eubie Blake National Jazz and Cultural Center, 847 N. Howard St, Baltimore, MD 21201 on Saturday, April 20 at 1:00 p.m.
A discussion will follow the reading and all audience members are invited to participate.
