BPF continues its 2023 performance season with the staged production of Our Final Family Outing by playwright Marshall Gibbs, directed by Henry Cyr at the Eubie Blake Cultural Center.
The plot shows what can happen when “Mom was against therapy, now she’s a therapist herself. Dad was a homophobe, now he’s coming out of the closet. Their grown-up kids navigate their feelings and wonder if finding forgiveness is even worth the effort, in this real-time family dinner gone very wrong.”

The performance will be generously hosted at the Eubie Blake National Jazz and Cultural Center, 847 N. Howard St, Baltimore, MD 21201 on Saturday, April 20 at 11:00 a.m.
A discussion will follow the reading and all audience members are invited to participate.
