Local playwright Elliott Kashner’s The Inn, first performed as a staged reading by BPF, will be transformed into a full production at Spotlighters Theatre for a two-week run, beginning Friday, August 7. Lanoree Blake – actor, stage manager and self-described horror junkie – will direct.
The Inn is a witty mystery that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
One by one, six strangers find themselves at a roadside inn nestled deep within the moorelands. The night grows dark, the mists have come, and there are rumors of a dangerous beast lurking about.
A hunter arrives to claim the bounty posted by the innkeeper and informs the guests that the rumored beast is a shapeshifter that the hunter has tracked to this very inn.
With midnight looming, accusations fly as the guests attempt to discover who might be the beast in disguise before it can transform and kill them all.
