BPF concludes its 2023 performance season with the staged production of Roommates and Other Strangers by playwright Robin Baron, directed by Andre Tittle at the Eubie Blake Cultural Center.
Playwright Robin Baron notes that:
“Roommates and Other Strangers is a comedy about Jessica, an out of work actress, who is about to overstay her welcome at her best friend Gabe’s apartment. When Gabe announces that he will be moving in with his boyfriend, Brandon, Jessica does whatever she can to sabotage Gabe and Brandon’s plans.“

This production is included as an attraction that is part of the 2024 Bromo Art Walk where patrons may experience the Bromo Arts District during a night of artistic performances, exhibits, and open studios.
The performance will be generously hosted at the Eubie Blake National Jazz and Cultural Center, 847 N. Howard St, Baltimore, MD 21201 on Thursday, May 16. Note that the start time will be at 7:30 p.m. The Eubie Blake Center is also hosting a second Bromo Walk performance.
