Be sure to tune in to WBAL-TV11 this Sunday, Nov. 1st at 9:15 a.m., as Miriam Bazensky, vice chair, Baltimore Playwrights Festival, and local community theater actor Dan Collins appear live in-studio on WBAL’s Morning Show to discuss the December, 2026 production of Stephen LaRocque’s play DECLARATION.
DECLARATION visits the story of Mary Katherine Goddard, a local Baltimore printer who printed the famed “Goddard broadside” version of the Declaration of Independence in 1777, during the Continental Congress’ brief sojourn in Baltimore.
Miriam will be directing the play, and Mr. Collins will appear as Charles Thomson, Secretary to the Continental Congress.
DECLARATION is slated to run Fri.-Sun., Dec. 11-13th and Dec. 18-20th at the Spotlighters Theatre as the curtain prepares to fall on our nation’s 250th birthday celebrations.
Look for more details about DECLARATION in the days to come.
