BPF presents the fourth production of its 2023 performance season with the staged production of Broken by the Bay by playwright Kevin Kostic at the Eubie Blake Cultural Center.
The play, directed by Charmaine Chester, “highlights how a woman’s dream of a restful vacation evaporates as the needs of her multi-generational family demand all she can give. Only when stretched to the breaking point, she discovers what she values and cares for most.”

The performance will be generously hosted at the Eubie Blake National Jazz and Cultural Center, 847 N. Howard St, Baltimore, MD 21201 on Saturday, April 13 at 1:00 p.m.
A discussion will follow the reading and all audience members are invited to participate.
