POSTPONED New Play Reading ♦ “Fallout” by Laura King
December 17, 2016 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Two damaged strangers take shelter from an unknown menace in a relic from the Cold War. In the
claustrophobic confines of a family bomb shelter, Anna and David will have to decide if what is
outside is more terrifying than what they are hiding inside themselves.
Laura King is an award-winning playwright and member of the Dramatists Guild. She holds an MFA in playwriting from Hollins University and is an instructor of theatre at Gordon State College. Laura’s plays are available at StageRights, YouthPLAYS, Polychoron Press, and the New Play Exchange.
Join us for a free staged reading of one of the new plays submitted by local playwrights for next summer’s Baltimore Playwrights Festival. Our next reading is on Saturday, December 17, 11 am, at Fells Point Corner Theatre, 251 South Ann Street.
Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before the reading is to begin. Readings of plays submitted for our 36th Season begin promptly and are followed by a short talkback.
The readings are free and are open to the public. Light refreshments will be available.
