March 11 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Send in the Clowns
by Greg Jenkins
directed by Timoth David Copney
Clowns can make you laugh, but they can also give you the creeps. They do some of each in Send in the Clowns, a dark comedy about dimwitted terrorists and misguided lovers.
Greg Jenkins is the author of four books, the newest of which is the novel A Face in the Sky, published last October by Harvard Square Editions. He has contributed dozens of short stories to such literary journals as Prairie Schooner, and has had several plays produced, including three in the Baltimore Playwrights Festival. Married, he is Professor of English at Garrett College.
by Kimberley Lynne
directed by Ryan Haase
In 1847, a French celebrity chef fed Irish famine victims in his Dublin soup kitchen and charged the wealthy to watch the poor eat. These performances marked the beginning of reality TV.
Kimberley Lynne is a writer, teacher, theatrical producer, director, actor and scenic designer. She is the Arts and Theater Manager at the University of Baltimore and teaches screenwriting, playwriting and performance. Over thirty of her plays have been produced and she has written two books, Something with a Crust, a collection of Baltimore short stories, and Dredging the Choptank, about ghost folklore.
